Arizona does not have a helmet law for adults while riding motorcycles. However, wearing a helmet has proven time and time again that it is the easiest and most effective way to stay alive while riding a motorcycle.
In fact, motorcycle helmets can prevent up to 70% of head injuries that occur while riding a motorcycle. You would think it would be a no-brainer to have one while you ride, even if you don’t have to by law in Arizona if you are over the age of 18.
According to the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), Arizona helmet laws require requires riders under the age of 18 to wear helmets at all time. Of course, to limit the likelihood of brain injuries, we urge adults to wear helmets as well.
